Disaster Services

The Chapter maintains a 365 day a year Disaster Action Team(DAT). These trained individuals are the Chapters "first responders" during time of need. They can assess damage, provide immediate assistance with food, clothing and shelter. They can also assist by providing contact with Red Cross trained mental health specialists and other community based social services agencies. 

We are concerned with everyones safety during disaster and have extensive courses and training in preparedness and mitigation.If you would like to be a member of our Red Cross Disaster Team, please fill out our on-line volunteer application or contact the Chapter at 574-753-6154 to sign up for our next class.
